PMS Medikal invests to meet the future challenges
PMS Medikal’s business area of Sterile Packaging Systems has continued its expansion to become a strong and reliable global player in its segments.
Major investment projects have been and are being carried out in India and Germany. This program consists of highly specialized world-class manufacturing facilities to increase our medical business and performance expertise.
The first introduction of PMSSteripack branded sterile packaging systems in India has started already 10 years ago. Since then we have steadily increased our market shares both in the hospital and in the OEM business which leads us to be the market leader in India.
In the second half of 2011, our new manufacturing facility located in Pune will be starting to manufacture high quality sterile packaging products for medical equipments and implants. For this purpose, PMS Medikal is proud to announce his partnership with Safetec, supplier of India’s most comprehensive range of Healthcare, Hygiene and Wellness related disposable apparel solutions.
This strong joint venture with our partner is focused on the highest possible levels of service and flexibility to ensure very fast and on time deliveries of PMSSteripack products for the Indian market.

New Printing Facility
The demand for high-quality medical paper printing rises rapidly. PMS Medikal decided beginning 2010 to invest in a new printing machine to cover the needs of medical device manufacturer for high-quality printed medial paper and film.
6 color printing system, automatically controlled printing process and winding and upwinding systems provides a non-stop printing with high-quality results.

Autoclave Tape
To fulfill the need of our customers and to complete the sterilization control product range, PMS Medikal has invested in a new facility for manufacturing of autoclave tapes. Tapes with or with/out chemical indicator are available in 19mmx50 m and 25mmx50 size.
The autoclave tape is easy to use, durable and shows an accurate color change after successful Steam sterilization cycle.

The imprinted indicators are in compliance with ISO 11140- Part 1.
Class 6 Steam Indicator Strip
PMS Steripack CLASS 6 Steam indicator strips are cycle verification indicators designed for use in pre-vacuum steam sterilizers operation at 134˚C for 3,5 minutes and integrate all the critical parameter of the steam sterilization cycle (temperature, saturated steam and exposure time).
The indicator strips are easy to use and shows an accurate color change after successful Steam sterilization cycle.
All indicator strips are in compliance with ISO 11140- Part 1.
